Upon completion of the course, graduates will be eligible to apply for the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration and achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), opening doors to teaching opportunities worldwide.
The program provides students with 18 weeks of school placements, offering real-world classroom experience. Additionally, students will engage in on-campus learning and gain insights into educational research and effective teaching practices. Three core modules form the foundation of the curriculum: Professional Learning Through Enquiry, Education Studies and Professional Values, and Professional Skills in Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Practice.
Eligibility Criteria for MSc Secondary Education Programme
Candidates applying for the program must meet the entry requirements set by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). These include:
A degree from a recognized higher education institution, either in the UK or an equivalent international qualification.
