Spring 2026 Program Highlights
Engineering Program in London, England:
A new addition for Spring 2026, the London Center’s Engineering program is tailored for second-year students in aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering. The program offers an opportunity to engage with the UK’s dynamic economy while fulfilling key engineering and math requirements.
English Immersion Program in Santiago, Chile:
Students can immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Santiago through the Santiago Center’s English immersion program. Offered in partnership with U. Catolica, one of Latin America’s top universities, the program allows students to take courses in social sciences and humanities while participating in internships, fieldwork, and travel opportunities. The program’s unique schedule, running from January to May, also includes immersive travel experiences to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Chile’s Patagonia region.
Whitman Core Program in London, England:
The London Center’s Whitman Core program provides second-year students from the Whitman School of Management an opportunity to complete nine credits of core courses and two electives while living in London. This program offers a valuable experience in one of the world’s foremost business hubs. Restrictions apply; students should refer to the program page for details.
French Language Studies in Strasbourg, France:
For students interested in French language and culture, Strasbourg offers the chance to enroll in courses at three partner universities: Science-Po Strasbourg, the University of Strasbourg, and the Institut International d’Études Françaises. Students can take courses in English at the Syracuse center or deepen their language skills at partner institutions. This program is designed for students with intermediate to advanced French language proficiency.
World Partner Programs
Through Syracuse University’s World Partner Programs, students can choose from over 50 study abroad options at partner institutions in regions like Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. These programs are ideal for independent students looking for unique experiences, such as studying public health in India, learning Arabic in Morocco, or exploring global oceans aboard a sailing vessel.
Application Process
The application cycle for Spring 2026 opens on May 15 and runs through October 1 for most programs. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but students are encouraged to apply early as some programs have limited capacity. In a new change for Spring 2026, students will be required to submit second, third, and fourth-choice programs in case their first choice reaches capacity.
For more details, students can schedule an appointment with an international program advisor or make a general advising appointment to explore their study abroad options. Virtual advising will also be available over the summer, on a limited basis.
For specific deadlines and further information, students are encouraged to visit the individual program application pages on the Syracuse Abroad website.
