The University of Birmingham Dubai (UoBD) has launched a new scholarship initiative, the “125 Scholarship,” to commemorate the university’s 125th anniversary. This special program offers financial support for talented and high-achieving students from around the globe, including India, providing an opportunity to pursue studies at the Dubai campus with up to 50% off tuition fees.
The scholarship is available to students applying for the September 2025 intake and is applicable to select courses such as engineering, health sciences, business, education, law, computer science, and life sciences.
Professor Yusra Mouzughi, Provost of the Dubai campus, explained that the scholarship not only celebrates the university’s rich legacy of education and research but also aligns with the institution’s commitment to nurturing future leaders. She emphasized that the scholarship is part of the university’s broader mission to contribute to the UAE’s vision of building a knowledge-based economy, while empowering students to make meaningful contributions to society.
Located in Dubai’s Academic City, the University of Birmingham Dubai offers the same world-class education and teaching standards as its UK-based counterpart. The Dubai campus has rapidly become a preferred destination for Indian students seeking an international degree closer to home, with a strong focus on career readiness and industry connections.
